Awards

An important aspect of artistic support includes awards for professional development. I was fortunate to receive a Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs grant in February 2019 by the Copper Country Community Arts Center to support my attendance at the Arts Leadership conference held at Seattle University. There I joined arts leaders in presenting work and learned about exciting initiatives by other socially concerned artists such as Marilyn Raichle, leader of the Art of Alzheimers organization.
